EVB Gaming is happy to announce their recently signed Super Smash Bros. Wii U player, Austin “Dath” Brown! Dath has recently placed Top 32 at CEO 2016 and at EVO 2016. With an upset over ANTi at EVO, the future looks bright for Dath in Smash Wii U as we are only halfway through the year. Earlier in the year, Dath placed Top 5 at both  the Casino Royale 2 and Glitch tournaments.

When speaking about joining the EVB organization, Dath said: “I’m really thrilled to be with EVB Gaming.  I see a lot of similarities between us. We are both rapidly growing and our goals are to not stop until we are the best. Over the past few months we have both made some waves in Esports, and I am excited to see what we can do when we come together as a team.” -Austin “Dath” Brown

Another Smash Wii U professional from Florida, Nick Riddle, spoke a bit about Dath:  “He looks at the hurdles on his way to greatness and tackles them without a second thought or hesitation, as opposed to some people who would switch characters to make it easier for themselves. Dath could become a force in the community if he wanted to go that route. If Dath continues to climb at the rate he is going, he’ll become influential to the community just on the merit of his placements.” - Justin “Nick Riddle” Lew

He is mainly known for being one of the best at playing with Robin in-game, and is ranked highly when compared to other Smash Wii U players in South Florida.

EVB COO Noah Carbone says of the signing "We are excited about having this promising player representing the organization in Smash Wii U! We know what his potential is and that is what makes this an ideal situation for the team.  We like to think that we have an eye for talent, and our eyes have been focused on Dath for some time."

Dath will make his debut in EVB colors at the Big House in Ann Arbor, Michigan, from October 7th to October 9th.
