HOUSE TATARIAN JOINS EVB
Las Vegas, Nevada – EVB Gaming has announced that Chris Tatarian has joined their quick growing roster of top tier combatants in the Fighting Game Community (FGC). This move comes on the heels of the stunning signing of ex Critical Reaction, and top Mortal Kombat X player Ryan “Dragon” Walker. The moves show that EVB is clearly positioning them to make a run at becoming one of, if not the, premier eSports sponsors of the rapidly growing FGC Community.
Tatarian is EVB’s first venture into the highly popular Street Fighter V (SFV) competitive scene and with this signing they are poised to make a splash. Chris is currently ranked #11 in the Capcom Pro Tour worldwide standings, as well as #3rd in the North American Region. With these positions, Tatarian is a favorite to qualify for the Capcom World Cup at the conclusion of the 2016 season.
Known for his amazing play with the character Ken, he has become part of what is known as “Trinity”. Fellow Ken loyalists, Julio Fuentes of ex-NBA star Rick Foxes team Echo Fox, and free agent BrenttisCool round out this group of competitors that are clearly combining their knowledge of a character and essentially “crowd sourcing” the information.
When asked about Tatarian, Fuentes says, “I am happy to hear about Chris’s recent sponsorship. I have no doubt that he can take EVB to great heights.” Fuentes pauses and nods, “He deserves it. His work ethic and dedication towards improving is unmatched. He is going to accomplish amazing things.”
Tatarian speaks with excitement when asked about the signing. “I am very blessed to have this opportunity. I look forward to representing EVB and I am thrilled to be part of that family.”
On the signing of Tatarian, EVB co-founder Noah Carbone says “It is not often that an opportunity like this comes up. Chris is a phenomenal player and for him to be available at this juncture, well, we couldn’t just let him slip away.” Carbone adds, “We are glad he chose the EVB family as his home during his quest for the Capcom Cup.”
